"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen!"
Sometimes faith seems easier than at other times. We have faith that the sun will come up in the morning or that spring is going to come soon. But sometimes, yes just sometimes, we question our faith. When we're going through a hard time we wonder if things will ever get better, we question if that loved one will be cured of cancer, if the bills will ever get paid or if we'll ever find that job that's needed. The truth is, those things may never happen. There is no guarantee in live that our faith will make everything turn out right, or rather, the way we want it to turn out. Our faith is the "evidence", or "substance" or "confidence" in what's NOT seen. God is here with us, walking through each day, good, bad, or otherwise. He is leading us to where we need to be in our relationship with Him. That's what faith is!
Knowing that I'm not alone as I walk through this short span of time called life, knowing that each step as I call on Him that He's walking ahead of me, preparing the way. He never promised that this life would be easy, but He does promise that He will walk through every step with us. Rest in those promises!
